General George Armstrong Custer, was made famous, the day he and his fellow soldiers were killed in a raid on a very large Sioux and Cheyenne village on the Little Big Horn River, in south eastern Montana on June 26th 1876
@MIGUEL2005LIMA Do you know his story? Do a google search.. I know your from another country so you may not know about him. Also there's a movie called "Son of the Morning Star"... It's a mini series on him..
@Briain57 He was no worse or better than anyone from that time period.. He was the product of the time. To judge him is your right.. to honor him may be a bit much... I created this piece to understand him.. my feeling when I created it, was that he was a bully.. A black eye on the military... Yeah your right. A moment for the Native Americans to gain great power from his defeat.. The Indian way of life had no chance. It's just a fact of life. Is he a hero.. no
very sad expression.....
