A lifelong Scientologist, Christie King Collbran worked for the Sea Org, the elite corps who help run the Church. But, after 13 years, she grew disillusioned with the Church's leadership and left.

  • @ReliableInsider I agree. But Scientology is no different than most religions. They practice fear based tactics to "help" you decide to believe what they do. How can there be "free will" if the alternative to living how they want you to is burning in hell for eternity? People need to wake up and leave organized religion completely. Just look at the Catholic church. Almost bankrupt from molestation payoffs. You dont need a church to have a relationship with god. All you need is your beliefs.

  • Unfortunately, the true victim here is the child. Used as a loophole to get out of a contract, and now having to grow up with divorced parents, this poor child is starting in the negative. I pray he/she turns out ok because his/her parents failed him/her.

  • Hawt Scilon is Hawt. Good for you Rinder, truly.

  • If u leave the church youre still a Thetan right?

  • good for you Christie. What's sad is most folks don't realize that Scn tech is a wonderful thing, but the Scn org is not. A lot of us would still be in Scn if it became a society of equals & not a dictatorship. Best of luck and don't let all the negative comments get you down . (by the way, good TRs, I totally got your communication)

  • Slaped in the face 10 times..

    Damn.

    ...

  • Wow. I want to go right to being 'disconnected', just so the idiot scientologists don't fucking talk to me. Morons.

  • I think people can believe what they want, as long as its a personal relationship with their "god". Your beliefs are yours alone, just like everyone else. The problem begins when people think their beliefs are better than anothers and try to force their beliefs on them. Thats why there are so many religions, no one can decide on everything and come to an agreement. They just create a new religion that reflects their beliefs and morals. Is that the word of god?

  • Because _one_ of the atheist arguments is, "Why is everybody spending so much time on religion? Don't we all have better things to do?"

Maybe everyone should just live and let live.

I can't imagine how devout Christians and passionate atheists could ever have any influence over one another whatsoever.

Unless it's some particular political issue on which people might be willing to be flexible.
