@l7ebels they might beat Hawthorn under the conditions prevailing at the Docklands, but on the softer grounds of the 1980s and 1990s very few sides from any era would have a chance against the 1988 Hawks.

this hawthorn side would destroy the cats of 07-09, hard, tough and very skillful even in the wet conditions of the grand final. Dermie was one of the best cntested markers around considering he was wasnt overly big for a CHF.
