An introduction to ANCIENT ORGANICS GHEE- #1 Rated ORGANIC Ghee in the United States Part 1) The source of our butter- Straus Dairy and Creamery Part 2) How we make our Ghee www.ancientorganics.com
We pay more for the cost of our organic butter 'wholesale' from Straus, than the price that Purity Farms sells their fully made and bottled ghee to Whole Foods. There is a huge difference in cost in the butter itself. Even though it is true that the butter we use to make our ghee does cost a lot, it is of the very best quality. Straus won the Gold Medal award for the 'Best Butter in the World' at the International Dairy Competition in 2009.
Amazing attention to detail. I love the fact that my ghee is made on a full-moon night and has a mantra chanted over the process. Makes me feel better about paying such a high price for it!
As a PhD Candidate in BioPhyics and an Ayurvedic Clinician I know ghee...and notice the house in the background of one of the very first photos of the Strauss Farm cows...I lived in that house for 8 years, walking almost daily with those cows and knowing first hand so well the purity and power of the land they lived on and the Farmer that raises them, Albert Strauss. I eat about 25-30 ounces of ghee per week and every deeply restorative nectarous spoonful is Ancient Organics Ghee!
