I listened to this song a lot when I was 17. I lived in the outer suburbs on the edge of the city. I would listen to it on my walkman as I walked past half completed shopping centers and cookie cutter suburban housing developments on my way home from school. I really fucking get this song.

@FlaminBelgianWaffles Why? He didn't say anything bad about the song. It's just an opinion. I actually think that Dashboard is a great song, not better than this one of course, but I still think that people should be able to enjoy songs like Float On and Dashboard and not get judged for it.

@metallvoid Oh I'm not saying the new stuff is bad, I love it! but with other bands, like Biffy Clyro for example have got worse imo as a result of wanting to appeal to a wider audience.
