This is the main Bass riff of the Beatles song "Hey Bulldog". It goes on nearly the same all over the song.

  • Good, but your bass should have first been tuned to the recording.

  • You think it's out of tune?

    I don't think so!

  • using a rick?

  • ok. ma perchè non le completi?

  • iv always love this riff and your good at it.

  • You're not out of tune, but the records bass it tuned up a little more. They did this in a couple of other songs.

  • No way... McCartney generally used a pick... AND used a pick on this song, so it's appropriate that he did. PLUS, there's many great basslines in songs where you can tell a pick is used. It's a sharper more percussive sound. Listen to any post punk band i.e. christian death or orange juice (bands you probably wouldn't know) and their bass sounds great with a pick. Joy Division I believe uses a pick on the bass and New Order as well. The strokes bass player uses one too I believe. ur wrong.

  • Love yer playing but check out the slidin' bass line on 'you can talk to me'..

    Love yer bass

  • Picks are the best!

  • your obviously very good

i just CANT STAND it when i see a bass player usin a pick..

bass sounds sooo much better played with ure fingers, and if you get good enough u can WAY more with your fingers/.

    But hey, your great

  • Great playing!

    Johnny

  • It's flat compared to the recording. It just needed to be tuned UP slightly. I have perfect pitch and I can hear these things. But Great playing!
