  • Peli que ganó el Festival de Cannes 1976. Por ella, el tema de Perales interpretado por Jeannette "Por qué te vas" se hizo conocido. Es una peli que "debes ver". Ana Torrent, desde entonces, mostraba ya la singularidad de su mirada.

  • @cozybear692001 It represents Spanish society just before the death of Franco. The 3 girls represent the future of Spain, they question things. The older people, especially their father, represent Franco's Spain. The house also represents Spain under Franco - the house is old and falling down, the swimming pool is empty. Finally Ana's words are the most prophetic: "Que se muera. Quiero que se muera". She refers to her aunt, but really she refers to Franco and the Old Spain.

    Title refers to a popular spanish proverb, "Cria cuervos y te sacarán los ojos" (raise crows and they´ll poke your eyes out).
