My volunteer orientation week in Windhoek, summer 2009, where I met many unforgettable people. The first five minutes is the performance of a traditional Tswana dance (mind you, I think these dancers added their own twist, hehe ;-). This dance originates from Botswana, and is performed at various occasions. Aspects of the dance are intended to represent various animals. The dancers traditionally wear motsetsos, an animal skin, and strung together around their ankles are the seeds of a species of tree, which act as a rattle when they stomp.

The second half of the video are photos of my fellow volunteers having a party, and then some images in and around Windhoek.
