Christie leaves us to follow the logical conclusion to his solution to Canadian culture: free the West and tighten immigration to allow in only those cultures that look, speak and think like the rest of us white European descendants. Then perhaps put restrictions on existing cultural "pockets" to make them think, look and speak like us.

Problem: except for the 1rst Nations we're all from elsewhere. If you want only 1 true Canadian Culture we should all be speaking Cree or another Native tongue.

I agree. People who dont have money always keep looking for money. People who dont have a good life always keep searching for a good life.

Canadians dont have a culture so they keep looking for it.

Teen pregnants, homosexuals, Slutty women, decadence dont really form any culture but are part of Canada.

@ryan84160 Not all world religious organizations have representation in all parts of Canada. If one wasn't moving to a major city centre they could find it difficult to find like minded individuals and a place to practice. That's all religion has to do with it. For example if a person were looking to find a Hindu temple in every town they are in for a culture shock.

@ryan84160 I thought you were asking questions because you were looking to move to Canada and I was trying to offer advice that I thought would be useful to someone from a different culture. I only saw one comment of yours and didn't see you were having an all out race argument with someone else. Good golly are you a touchy one!

@MsColdCanada If a person immigrates to Canada, it would make their life much easier if they learned the language. What is your point ? And what on earth does religion have to do with anything ???

@ryan84160 It doesn't look like anyone replied to you. That's right. A couple of other things though speaking either french or english is important. If you care about religion and require a group to join it can get a bit more tricky. The most difficult thing you'd probably find is making friends, not because of race, but because Canadians don't often talk to strangers even if they lived in the same town for 20 yrs... if you weren't introduced you're a stranger.

@queenxinying So it's one part french colonizing and culture raping, and one part our government who gives Native band authoritarians hundreds of millions of dollars and still let their own people rot in the streets with horrifying substance abuses of all kinds, HIV, and an alarming amount of suicides. I am all for empowering the Natives who were here first, over any other race that comes into this country

@queen You can thank the French Catholics for raping their Culture, taking their kids away, changing their names, and sticking them in french Catholic schools. the Natives helped the French when they showed up dirty on their shores full of diseases then took them over and abused them and their children and to this day some of those Catholic pigs are still being charged with abuses. Today, the Native band leaders have hundreds of millions and are letting their own people rot with substance abuse
