  • Hmm, interesting trick I must try. It sounds similar to a multiband compressor, only with more control over each band and not limited to one peripheral. To replicate, I think I'll try sending the kick signal through two aux's, filtering out the spectrum of lows and highs on each, compress with whatever compressor I want on either band, blend the wet or take out the dry, and send through a master bus as the kick mix.

    Interesting indeed XD.
