  • I was read Joel McIver's book "Justice For All: The Truth About Metallica" and it says in the book and James even says that he was originally supposed to be lead guitar and the guy who is the current singer for Armored Saint was supposed to sing in Metallica. But that was before Lars and James met Dave. Then James decided to play rhythm and sing and have Dave on lead. Just think we would have missed out on some incredible vocals if they hadnt met Dave.

  • @Dandrum2727 u are telling someone to do research and you listened to it before someone was born and u have such statement?? hahahaha

  • The beginning looks like to the RIFF RAFF of AC/DC

  • Its Dave Mustaine!

  • it's James lol

  • @Dandrum2727 It James. Dave never did more than background vocals in Metallica. It doesn't even sound like Dave anyway. It's just a very young James trying to emulate NWOBHM vocalists.

  • and if you think it is go listen to the No life tell leather demo for jump in the fire or the mechanic, he uses the same style for those songs. its hetfield you deff fools. not stop fighting.

  • okay, so get it right, this is not mustaine singing. he sang a whole song with metallic, twice, and that was on a rare demo recording of hit the lights. and him and hetfield sang the whole song together, all at once, no one sang it alone. the other time was the big four concert during his part of am i evil. other than that he only sang the chorus for certain songs. at least, official record wise. he did however often talk drunk talk into the mic during live shows. but no. that is not mustaine.
