In 1945 there were up to one million Jews living in the Middle East and North Africa outside the Palestine Mandate - many living in ... all » communities dating back more than three millennia. Today, there are only several thousand remaining.

Who are these Jews? What precipitated their mass-exodus in the 20th century? Where did they go? And why do we always hear about the Palestinian refugees, but didn't even know these Jewish refugees existed?

  • @omfg4000 Because they're smarter than most, and some, especially muslims, can't stand it.

  • What a mess the Middle East is. A shit-hole desert region compaired to many places of the world, but it is Arab. Wandering Jews slowly take over 3rd World Israel over decades, with intermittent help from the West, beginning with England and in recent decades, the US. Other Western manipulations control the tribal region, buying puppet Kings and rulers, while the people suffer. And now they rise up. The people want more and they know that Jews are an enemy.

  • @JohnnyRock2000 800000-900000 jews forcefully exiled from their homes, their 3000-year-old communities in arab states. 4000-5000 displaced palestinian arabs. & please don't mention the "millions" because their great-grandchildren don't count, just as i can't demand land in libya or elsewhere from my family's past. a ridiculous argument? yeh, sure.

  • @micheltariq no disrespect, but do u not question what u learn? the 2 blue lines on the flag don't mean "the nile to the euphrates". on the contrary, its a traditional jewish pattern, seen on the jewish 'talit'. the people in israel who call for "greater israel" that u talk of, are nutcases who are considered a joke by the vast majority of israelis. extremists like those aren't given the time of day. & as the kurds deserve self-determination in their homeland, so do the jews.

  • Israel belongs to the Jews, those muslim sharia law loving arabs need to get out=Go Away

  • arabs have a diseased ,vile mind. it must come from their cult of the moon god. their primative ancestors were more advanced intellectually and morally than they are today.

  • Thank god I'm an American.

    1. From the Nile to the Euphrates is not so big, especially when compared to the huge Arab empire.

    2. Israel is content with its current borders. It's even willing to give land for peace. It even gave 60% of its territory to Egypt.

    3. The Israeli flag represents a Talit - a traditional Jewish garb. The 2 blue lines represent the 4 blue strings (wear the flag as a Talit and you'll see).

    4. The land of Israel belongs to the Jewish nation, which has owned and lived in it for 3000 years

  • @JohnnyRock2000 - 1400 years of Islamic invasions into Europe. One third of Christendom annexed before the first crusade...90% of that never recovered. 1.2 million Europeans enslaved by the Barbary Pirates. Untold millions of Africans enslaved before, during and after the European slave trade ended and you want to mention what is "fair".

Oh, and 150 years Britain had already outlawed slavery in it's Empire - Saudi ended it in the 1960s.

  • @Hereticalable - A little unfair when considering that the West helped despots dominate the Arab countries for decades. Even 150 yrs. ago the British used Egyptian slave labor to build the Suez.
