@ThatguyNice I get that that's probably a more dramatic ending, but she would have to go through more pain, suffer more, and go through much more. This is an amazing story of character, friendship, sportsmanship, and love, and I wouldn't change any part of it, no matter what. It's perfect.

That was cool. But, what would've been more amazing, would be to see Sarah on her belly; in tears of pain; clawing and dragging her torn ACL injured knee around the bases. Then, everyone bursting into tears as they pick her up at home plate. Now, that's a finish.

this is deep. I think it is so moving because instead of just thinking about themselves or their team versus the other team, they were thinking about the integrity of the game -- fairness -- and their roles in maintaining that value. If only our politicians would have this mentality (instead of the 'winner take all" approach) the USA might just have a chance of digging itself out of the mess we are in. Great job Malory!
