This public art project was installed on Sunday night (11/2)and is loosely based on the work of Christo and Jean-Claude (the Gates-NYC). It was vandalized that night(west half-not shown) by angry McCain supporters and this half had to be taken down because of park regulations.

Shouldn't those signs have been in people's yards? Why the surplus?

We hardly got any signs during the primary campaign from the Nat'l office despite our best efforts.
We still were only getting a few signs a week up to 3 weeks ago and by then supporters were frustrated and not as many people were coming in to get signs. So we had a lot left over- we only ran out of signs at hq the saturday after halloween. After this piece was completed, we gave most of the undamaged signs away-- at the Clinton rally. Sorry if you didn't get a sign.
