A Military Tribute slideshow made when I was bored.

Music - Saving Abel - Goodbye, So Long.

(The picture near the end incase you cant read it.)
For all the free people that still protest, you're welcome,
We protect you and you are protected by the best.
Your voice is strong and loud, but who will fight for you?
No one standing in your crowd.

We are your fathers, brothers, and sons,
wearing the boots and carrying the guns.
We are the ones that leave all we own,
to make sure your future is carved in stone.

We are the ones who fight and die.
We might not be able to save the world, well atleast we try.
We walked the paths to where we are at
and we want no choice other than that.

So when you rall your group to complain,
take a look in the back of your brain.
in order for that flag you love to fly,
wars must be fought and young men must die.

We came here to fight for the ones we hold dear,
if that's not respected, we would rather stay here.
So please stop yelling and put down your signs,
and pray for those behind enemy lines.

When the conflict is over and all is well,
be thankful we chose to go through hell.

(I don't know who this is by, but it's a good poem, or whatever it is.)

Hope you like it.

  • people protest to stop more soldiers dying for nothing

  • @CcccclarkkkkK I feel that most soldiers take protests offensive. If it were me (in which some day it may be), I'd take offense to protests. Instead, people who protest should not protest our soldiers, but support them and make sure they have everything they need to protect our country no matter if they support the war or not.

I personally support the wars over seas right now. Right now, we're at war with people who hate us for no reason, and will kill us at all costs.

    God bless our troops.

  • Awesome tribute! Love the vid..goin in my favs for sure! :)

"If you dont stand behind our troops..please feel free to stand in front of them!"

  • Thanks :)

Yeah, I love the poem at the end. Bassically explains what I feel about the protesters.

  • Very nice tribute, great images, well done.

    Thank you for posting.

  • 9/11......people have forgotten. Great vid.

  • dolphin with laser beam!

  • @Nebraska2155 Im ok with someone not support wars or the reasons why we are fighting them, but what i cannot and do not tolerate is people bashing the TROOPS themselves, that's just wrong.

  • @Nebraska2155 i agree, i see people protesting or over hear conversations with people saying "we shouldn't be there" or its "unjust". It makes you feel like everything that was fought for and died for is worthless, but then i remember that everyone has their right to voice their own opinion and most people are just mislead or misinformed about what is really going on.

  • God bless the men and women in the military

  • Salute the army

  • @Nebraska2155 We know the costs, and we join for those reasons. If people dont like what we have to pay, they dont have to join. But we do what we have to to protect America... even if we fight a losing war. We do what we have to, because we know that if we dont fight, we would lose everything. If one life can save another, or multiple lives.... then there is nothing saying that you shouldnt give it.

  • @Nebraska2155 Personally, I dislike protests because they turn to violence. My stepfather was in Vietnam, and had to deal with hard stuff over there, and returned to a country that hated him for his sacrifices. I dont like protests because they remind me of that, and there is no need to protest because we who are in the services are where we are because we know that if we weren't here, no one else may take our place. Someone has to do the job, so we should.

  • Awesome!!
