GWMS Composting Assembly Part 1

On January 4, 2012, George Washington Middle School kicked off its composting initiative with an assembly. The assembly was designed by Mrs. Klein and a student crew. Jared McGovern from the National Mississippi River Museum and Jenny Ammon from Swiss Valley Nature Center were the featured hosts. Starting to compost after lunch is just one way students at Washington are being the change they want to see in the world.
