We instead found an ugly side of poverty, displacement and struggles. These stories need to be told because these people are in our very own backyard and each and everyone of them is Malaysian, just like you and me. Here are their stories.

The guy said the illegal refugees in sabah who are mostly phillipinos are the mother of all problems. and so many of them got PR and malaysian citizenship . @annie3204 there are many philipino refugees in east malaysia . Many philippinos work as maid in Malaysia and 4 million at least in middle east as low class workers. that means philipine is a poorer country than malaysia. there are so many hungry people in philipine that many of them now have to live in europe, middle east, everywhere except their own country.

@mangp phillipinos are people from phillipines. In sabah (east malaysia ) there are 40% phillipinos. and many phillipinos are maids in malaysia.
