if an attack needs a colorless energy, can you use any basic energy type for that?

@MSCownage Jup, If you attach any type of basic energy to a Pokemon it can count as a colorless energy for an attack.

@supermariohunter2001 Well the effect of the card won't work anymore..Even though the card stays attached to an evolved Pokemon, the effect will not work because it only works for basic Pokemon..
