I just don't get why Saab didn't market these harder.
When it first came out, I had no idea it had 4WD. All I knew was that it was supposed to be a tribute to the old black turbos, which I thought was stupid as all Saabs had turbos at that point.

yeah, although now Ive bought the TTiD4 my tuning knowledge has to move to diesel over the good stuff ;) We'll see. Cheers.

@leoyde with a tune and a few bolt ons, 400hp is no problem.

the 2.8 V6 I would have thought should be more capable of pulling +300. My 2.0 TFSI did that on a more lightweight chassis. Didnt sound anything like that tho. Still, I sold the S3 and am waiting to join Saab at the end of the month so we'll see what a bit of tuning can do.
