Next is the single leg tackle as opponent put the leg between your legs to defend. Point is, grab the leg tightly with your thighs, move your head from one's inside to outside, and pull the leg with spin like a compass. It'll make easy to throw.

"Next is the single leg tackle when you defended. Point is, as opponent dodge, use your shoulder turning to throw away.

"second, single leg tackle, with sweep the leg. Point is make sure opponent's taken leg, as high as possible. It brings another leg closer to you, then you could sweep it.

He says "if you do valetudo, you could use striking, throwing, and submission. I suggest, as I also use, throwing and submission mainly. You should use striking only for setup moves to make throwing and submission possible.

This is a great video. I have this on VHS (also). Note: Sakuraba has cross-trained with Judo and BJJ practitioners, but he is 100% Catch-as-Catch-Can Wrestler having trained exclusively with legendary Billy Robinson, who calls Sakuraba "one of my best boys." If you love Saku, check out Minowa and Josh Barnett. In my opinion, they're the top 3 best CACC fighters in modern MMA.
