Robot Masters of El Dorado Hills, California USA and icNRG (I see Energy) of Eindhoven Netherlands have been working over the internet to demonstrate that it is possible to get 660 points legally and within time. They met for the first time in Tokyo during Asian Open Championship and had two runs. Due to technical difficulties, videos from two different cameras views were merged to create this tape but it shows how 660 points can be achieved.

  • We used windup Lego motor which was legal then but I think became illegal from the following season. You can probably do the same with Lego rubber bands.

  • This is pretty awesome.

In the video you use a "race" car that hits the north wall in what seems like a fraction of a second. What power that car? How is it started from base? How did you make it go so FAST?

  • man what would you recommend to do for this since im interested in entering this year? I love building electronics but i dont have much knowledge for legos. any tips?

  • Great job, and I agree, it is very cool to see!

Thanks for representing Northern California so well!

  • AWESEOME teamwork. Very cool to see how two teams, working together, can do the impossible.

Kudo's to IC/NRG and the Robot Masters!
