Good day! I have the same number of plates that you have. also noticed that there are somewhat steam like coming out of my unit. I have used sodium hydroxide, and the unit is pretty warming up. I think my unit making around 1liter per minute. Not much.

I had the same problem. Flip one of the end plates. So the entry is at the bottom. The fog comming out of the hose is LYE or KOH vapor. Depending on which you use. It must be removed through a bubbler, using a aquarium air stone through 50% vinegar 50% water. After that, make a second chamber containing a dry material to obsorb any other moisture. I prefer rock/cotton/rock/cotton/rock/c
otton making sure not to pack the cotton. It will restirct flow. Any other questions, let me know. -
if each gap is below 2volts then u wont have steam. that might just be the HHO vapor but if you have less then 5 n plates then you might be making some steam.making a dry cell with less than 5 n plates is just a waste of time.
