  • For my money, HIS statue should be in front of Wrigley Field and not Harry Caray's.

  • Whoever posted this is a genius.

  • now wait a minute....i can maybe understand that Harry could begarded in both...but when i was growing up...jack brickhhouse was the man..he should be in front...Harry can have the sox..and live in the legacy of both...but Jack B...needs to be remembered for he was the voice of that era

  • @unclebobunclebob I SO Totally Agree!!!

  • "Great Moments in Cubs Baseball" I have that album!! Bought it at Wrigley the day I attended Milt Pappas no-hitter, Sept. 2, 1972! It still plays!! :-)

  • @tallatron I have it also! I know how you feel!

  • My aunt who lived in Chicago gave me that album! I still have it! It is a wonderful album!

  • @tonythetigerII So so True!!!! Harry was the Sox announcer. Jack, Lou, and Vince always will be my true Cub announcers. They should have put statues up at Wrigley of them not Harry.

  • I still have my album. It has some real wear on it. I little warped.

  • BootPatrol, you have no idea what "penultimate" means, do you? Look it up, man.

  • Jack Brickhouse was the penultimate Cubs broadcast man - loyal, yet honest.

Jack, you are still loved and remembered.

  • My favorite birthday ever was when I got this album, a new glove AND got to go to a Cubs game -Cubs beat the Phillies 11 to 2. Before the game we met Vince Lloyd -a really nice guy- who said he would wish me a happy birthday over the air. He did, which we got to hear on the little portable radio Dad took to the game. Mom, listening at home, heard it too.

Thanks you, Vince, Lou, and Jack ( and Jim West too) !
