@FlachoOG thanks but I already figured out the problem. MY EyeTv was version 3.5.3 and the newer gaming version of HD PVR requires eyetv 3.5.4 so I just updated it and its fine.

@gorillabread I have this problem, my solution is every time i start eyetv it is bright. then i quit eyetv. open a different application called HdpvrCapture record for like 3 seconds, quit HDpvrCapture then eyetv seems to work just fine. Hope this helps, you can see the quality i get on my own channel and om me for more help - Ed

My PVR when I record is all very bright looking with the screen being much much whiter than on the ps3. Help I'm using the same cable as you.
