  • I miss waking up to this awesome music.

The election coverage music was exciting.

  • Meredith sounded WAY too much like she was reading from a script. No enthusiasm.

  • @HoustonCommercials I have to admit that I noticed that too. It's perhaps too much to say it was intentional. But even as someone who voted for Obama I cringed.

  • @mattyohe I think it is foolish to not see that Obamacare was a tax increase for EVERY American. Period.

  • I think it is really interesting how President Obama's intro had the full backing of the NBC/MSNBC election theme, while it only played underneath the McCain soundbyte. That was totally coincidental.

  • “Democracy Plaza” was better.

  • I Believe This Was NBC News' Today Video Open From Tuesday Morning, November 4, 2008.

  • @Nipponkoku I believe at least MSNBC will be using the theme for the 2010 midterms elections! I can't wait until November just to hear the music!

  • yes, the political analysis may differ from network to network, and some say one network is better than the other, but I'm sorry... nobody can touch NBC's election music... it's so powerful and moving.

  • Wow i love the music the graphics everyhting about this opening. its amazing.

  • Based on your grasp of the english language, I would conclude you're not making more than 250k a year, so you haven't actually seen a tax increase.
