BBC Call my Bluff 70s with Robert Robinson & team captains Fwank Muir & the incomprehensible Patrick Campbell,
plus surprise star guests (edmundz turned up on everything in those days). Wat a bunch of zobos!

  • I cried with laughter when he rang the bell. It's not a good idea to watch this after seeing the Fry and Laurie sketch xD

  • And an extra point for being so clever!

  • A Ferf..ferff...ferff..FINE performance, Sir.

  • Bloody hell they had fit birds in the 70s too! That blonde one

  • @DANWOODHOUSE

It was the same theme tune, just a different arrangement. The 1997 revival reverted to the original version as used here.

  • @scrumper10 Joan Bakewell was indeed gorgeous, the original 'thinking man's crumpet' and remains quite a beautiful woman still, even in her late 70's... and best of all, she's still very bright, witty and a breath of fresh air!!

  • Well remember my dad turning over to BBC 2 to watch this in the early evening. This is a little earlier than the ones I remember (I watched the ones with Arthur Marshall and Frank Muir) but it looked and felt exactly the same...the bell, the way the captains introduced their team, the atmosphere.

  • Thumbs up if you're here because of Phill Jupitus.

  • @feliciter84 Well said Sir, or Madam.

  • Loved this when I was a teenager in the early seventies. Originally shown on BBC 2 I think. As someone else said Joan Bakewell was gorgeous and I fancied her like mad all those yrear ago.

  • there was real competition between Muir and campbell it made it such fun

  • Watched this as a child: more entertaining too in the 70s. RIP
