Thanks for the video. Will have to try it. I called AAA and he got the spare tire down but he didn't put it on. He gave me enough air (in the flat tire) to get to the service station (but, of course it was Saturday and they were closed). I did get the cable down but I can't see how to get the spare back on. The molding that it rests on/holds it up is bigger than the hole it's supposed to go through. But maybe we didn't get enough slack in the cable to get it to turn.

Why does this spare tire not have a yellow sticker on it? I changed a tire on a 2006 Volvo V70.

@bjthedjdutchdude1992 I am not sure. I have read about some cars having them. It seems to list maximum speed and distance to drive on the tire. From what I have read it seems to be more common on non-domestic vehicles.

Thank you for a concise visual. FYI: Towne Fair Tire has a policy where they will NOT put your spare tire back after they put a new tire on. They did not tell me beforehand and I bought 2 new tires from them.
Thanks to this video, I can put my spare back myself. Is there anyone who thinks the spare under the car is a bad design?
