Sonny Bill Williams is training ultra hard for his latest fight with apponent Carl Webb The Bout will take place on 29 Jan 2010 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Broadbeach. He will be hoping to restore Rugger Pride by beating the man who Kayoed Nth Queensland Cowboys Prop Carl Webb and of course further his own fledling Pro Boxing Career. After two quick KO wins Sonny is now facing his Sternest test to date against Webb.Your probably asking how seriously is the All Black Star taking boxing - so I asked His Manager who emphatically replied "This is no joke ! Sonny takes Everything Seriously ! "He loves the Challenge of it" Judging from his 6 rounds completed with World Ranked Alex Leapai. Sonny Bill acquitted himself admirably as Samoan Leapai Tysonesquely pursued him around the ring but some deft footwork and long racking jab Sonny managed to hold his own.This was no pita-a-pat session as Leapai is a hell of a Warrior and currently in talks with US promoters after impressively dispatching world ranked Owen Becks and Travis Walker within the scheduled distance.Teak hard Leapai you might remember engaged in candidate for fight of the year war with Travis Walker, with both men having to climb off the canvas in four pulsating rounds before a huge overhand right relieved the Giant American of his senses !
