@Bayern911 Hey I loved the duke 690, I would tend to go for the 990, just for the power, but it is a awesome bike . I am also 5'10" and it was not bad at all. Hope this helps.

Did you like the Duke? I'm thinking about getting one, but compared to the Triumph Street Triple (other bike I'm looking at it), it seems a bit singular in it's purpose. Is the fun factor worth the lack of comfort and convenience? Also, I know it's a tall bike, do you think some one who is 5'9 would have trouble getting the balls of their feet on the ground? Thanks in advance for a reply.
