LYRICS
O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born;
O night divine, O night, O night divine!

Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born;
O night divine, O night, O night divine!

  • When I listen to this song. I can see myself tired and worn out with dealing with this life in and out. Then rejoice as I hear that the night is holy because the holy one is coming after him the comforter.

    weary though I may be Christ was here that all may see

    it was his birth, of woman and spirit here on earth

    to bring the lost and weary,

    joyous news when life seems dreary

    fall on your knees, listen to Nat sing

    of the news and joy of the true King.

    This is my favorite Christmas song

  • Sounds Great :)

  • wish I had a fireplace! Lovely video...warming on a COLD day, no matter if Christmas is past, it's really 'everyday' in our hearts.

  • fall on your knees....oh hear the angels voices....oh night divine....oh night when christ was born....oh night divine....oh night .....oh night divine....i wish i could of been there....to gaze into the faces..of the baby jesus....and then look up and see the virgin mary....she must of had a supreme face...full of light...and purity...and then to look over at St Joseph's face....and say to him....hi...is this really Christmas...and they would all look at me and say.....what is Christmas..???

  • whenever i watch Nat King Cole....on tv...his shows...i know...that times...were different...back then....i know because i lived them...but somehow i sometimes...think that perhaps...he would of told the network powers to be...to have a few black faces...spread among all those white faces...on stage with him...am i the only one who noticed this.....

  • this rocks
