Perfect James 2:26 .....The body without the spirit is dead! "Without the spirit" means NOT SAVED in this case.
Fooled into believing DEATH will set you free from sin. Get SAVED now, or face a fate much worse than death when you die.
Even Satan can do what are seen as good works, as a tool to decieve and destroy ...... You shall know them by their fruits (works). A bad tree cannot bear good fruit, and a good tree will not bear bad fruit.
Works are proof your saved, not save you.

If you believe, you do. REAL Faith is proof that you believe, from that belief comes REAL works.
The gift is complete, not 3/4 of a gift and you do the rest. If Jesus has made you a new man free from sin, no longer bound to death, what more is there to do? Once your set free, how can you do antything but SHOUT THE GOOD NEWS FROM THE HILLTOP? If your saved, and free from sin, living right, others will know by your works.
What exactly are the works you MUST do to be saved? So I may know.

1. Faith Justifies Initially, but Works Perfect and Complete Justification
faith is indeed the minimum requirement without which we cannot please God. But this is just the beginning of the process leading toward justification. Faith alone does not justify a person. Justification is only achieved by faith and works, as we see below. Also, this gratuitous gift of faith from God also includes the grace of hope and love the moment the person is justified.

By their fruits you shall know them, you cannot fool GOD. Your works if coming from faith will be blessed. If your works come from self pride and ego, you will be cursed. You do not need to convince me, argue with GOD if your works are seen as evil by others.
I have no ill will towards you, I love you and want you to bve saved right now, FREE. New in Christ. Washed clean by HIS blood, not yours, or a priests, or a Saints. Works come from GOD if Christ is IN you, measure it with your fruits.

Do good deeds come from you or Christ? Are your good deeds worthy? Is the work Christ does through you for others your deeds?
How pretentious that you believe if you just do good, your saved. Without the Spirit, works are death. If a Buhddist does good works is he doing Christs work?
If Jesus is IN you, can your fruits (works) be bad? If your filled with The Holy Spirit, what evil works can come from you? You cannot serve two masters. Good or evil. Your works will reflect your spirit.

If I die to save a million lives, it was because of Jesus, not me. Do not celebrate me or my works, celebrate Christs works, especially the work COMPLETED on the cross.
When your filled with Faith, and The Holy Spirit, good works are natural, From GOD, not of your own. Your works are of man, and will not save you. Keep trying, muslims and Jews believe in works righteousness!

when we do good deeds, we are not claiming them to be our own. No not at all. It's by the power of God that we do good deeds. By the way, St. James says in his letter that a faith without works is a faith that's dead.

I did not say that. I gave you proof that we need good deeds and faith to be saved. Matter of fact, James says that even demons have faith.
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble.
Face it, the scriptures don't say what you want them to say.
