i have an interview this Tuesday with North Carolina Department of Corrections this is my second interview as in the second time they have called me for an interview the first time i recieved the dreadful rejection letter if anyone who works for north carolina doc can offer me any sugestions of about how to land the job as a c/o with those questions please respond

@wingersx Pass? Yeah, I passed. I've been a Connecticut Correctional officer for eleven years now. It's not to hard once your in and it gets easier the more seniorty and time you get under your belt. It pays well too. At least in Conn. it does. I make more than my uncle who is a city cop and has sixteen years on the police force. not putting them down, they get more action of course. they worry about guns and we worry about shanks (knives)

he makes it sound so easy. You have to take the test and that's even if their hiring. The only thing i remembe about it was the memorization. you get a picture to look at then taken away by the instructors. you then have to answer like a ton of questions about the picture. a huge part of the job is being aware and especially observant. then you have to take and pass the physical fitness/stretch test. and finally the oral interview which i feel is the most stressful and hardest part.
