By far the best video showing how to do it. Accurate and effective (actuallly sounds better than the official transcription which I wasted hours on...).
-
it's very hard to play this using Martin's Dreadnought.. Y_Y

Marty Swartz does the slide lick on twelth fret!

@JackFFR1846 I find that if you play the sprawl alternatively like this B-12/13--13-13 G-13/14--14-14 (x6)
then your second finger is immediately positioned correctly to go into that really nice bluesy lick straight after

Excellent attention to detail, you catch the groove. Best on Utube fo sho

Great job. Have been looking for a video like this to get the phrasing right and yours really helped. Have you considered doing `Before you accuse me` as I would love to learn this properly. many thanks.

your tutorials are great mate. got the 1st solo off up to speed. time for this one. i use your vids along with original recording of the songs coz i just ain't got the time to do them totally by ear. if you play electric-how about eric's Cocaine solo..? i need to nail that.

thanks man, glad to hear you're enjoying the tutorials. i actually don't have an electric with me at university, but i might be able to pull it off on acoustic, we'll see ;) take it easy

Excellent again. Got the first part of this. Something that might help people flow the "sprawl" part: After doing the 6 chords and the very first part of the sprawl with your first finger anchored on the 8th fret, you go to the 12th fret/4th string with your 4th finger. I found that if I fully switch positions hitting the 12th with my third finger, it set the position for the next part staying anchored there (1st anchored on the 10th) On to part 2 :D.
