1997 footage of the final round in GA mass launch at the NBM in Washington, DC. Flyers are Dan Driscoll, Stew Meyers, and Tom Hallman with the Loose Racer.
Both Tom and Stew drift out onto the 3rd floor walk-around, leaving Dan Driscoll as the winner of the kanone. His high flying Comet Corben Ace dimer was the victor.
Built between 1882-1887, this grand building continues to be the location for many of Washingtons social and political functions, including the Inaugural Ball.
