  • howcome my dodge spirit 95 doesn't have an RPM thing...where ur RPM is my gas guage is

  • @mattadam12 Mine came like that originally, I had a gauge assembly with a tach, so I swapped in the speedo for this car into the tach dash. It seems random which cars got a tach.

  • Oh dear... I owned a couple of Spirit/Acclaim units and if you actually pushed one over 100mph it'd be a explosion waiting to happen. The crappy rear suspension, the bad steering... you gotta think about this stuff before you endanger yourself and the public.

  • @Relss40

Both of my spirits have been pretty stable at speed. I have updated my suspension on both cars. This one has new shocks, struts, ebachi springs, larger front swaybar, aftermarket rear swaybar and a strut tower bar. I've had it up over 100mph a couple times and it feels nice and solid. My old spirit had all of this except the ebachi springs...it has ES spings instead. I had that car up around 125 and it still felt solid

  • whats the top speed for a v6 spirit? Igot my 4cyl up to 170-180 if im lucky.. I'm looking into buying this Dodge Spirit V6 3.0l for 400$ in amazingshape.. he says it's an R/T but that's impossible, no?

  • R/T was only available with the I4 2.2l 16v. the v6 probably maxxes out around 130 stock, gearing with a 5 speed will take you to about 150

  • I used to have a 1992 Acclaim w/ the 3.0L V6 and the 3spd automatic. That thing easily got up to the speed limiter (118mph if memory serves) at the track with 6 people on board. That car was extremely stable at speed and had no problem with handling, despite its rather rudimentary suspension. They sold these cars in Europe as the Chrysler Saratoga and I've personally seen a good number of them cruising on the German autobahns hanging with much more expensive cars.

  • That's what I ffigured.. The guy was telling me it's R/T but that didn't make senseto me cuz that's only for91's.. and rare to find. I'mbuying a (not sure the year) 3.0L v6 Dodge Spirit, and the paint jobis all white, with blue stripes.. and it says R/T on thehood. I saw the engine and quickly knew it wasn't, but he still debates saying it is.

  • it sounds mean when you eliminate the stock air box.

  • Jesus that thing sounds mean for a V6 Spirit! Sounds like a V8!
