Installing Windows 7 on VirtualBox

Get VirtualBox and create a new Windows 7 machine. Go into the settings and choose the boot method. It's easier if you get the ISO and set it to boot with the ISO. Start the machine and Install Windows 7.

why would you install windows 7 in windows 7?

@fdsfdsfdsism you prob didn't notice but I was installing Windows 7 in Windows Vista. If you looked at the date this video was published, Windows 7 was not released as yet. The Windows 7 that I was installing on Virtualbox was a beta. If you notice that the default desktop wallpaper was a fish and not the Windows logo.

@KingWillTV did you even boot from the .iso? If you don't have the windows 7 installation iso then download one from the description (32-bit preferably)

when i go onto virtual box i can't fine anywhere that says to upload an iso file please help?

@paulradford2008 The Virtualbox interface is a lot different now. This video was created in 2009. You first have to create the virtual machine then run it. A popup will appear asking you to insert DVD or choose ISO file.
