Geocaching Adventures

Wherein my friend, Julie, and I try geocaching for the first time.

I realize I never actually explain what geocaching is. Basically, it's like a modern day treasure hunt. However, if you want further explanation, try:

My Youtube inbox is clearly broken because I swear to god I never saw this.

My dad and I went geocaching once and were very, very bad at it. We spent 20 minutes wandering around the parking lot of a zoo and staring at our GPS device.  Haven't used it since.

Did you only try one place? It took us two places to find one afterall, even if that was the only place. It is quite difficult. Probably never again.

Haha! Nice one, you two! :-) I used to live with some guys who were really hooked on geocaching. In fact, I'm pretty certain that, out of all of us, I liked geocaching the least. I always felt that geocaching was a good walk spoilt. Things did get pretty exciting when we found a couple of scratchcards in one, though. I ended up going back at the dead of night to check if either of them were winners. Neither were.

@charlyandjosh That's really cool! Don't worry about liking it the least. This was my first time trying it, and I was exhausted by the third place we tried. It's safe to say I won't be geocaching in at least- oh, who knows. Just going on a walk is totally less taxing and can be just as thrilling or fun depending on the place you go.
