@MrBallcoozie there is a problem in the output spline on the passenger side of the transmission in the 2.4L model. the 3.5 does not have that problem. there is a newly posted recall where the transmission is removed and that spline is replaced and your dealer should provide you with a rental for the day in order to do the repair. other then that we have had no other problems with the sorento.

I'm scared. I've been reading reviews on the Kia Sorento, and found that there is a transmission and steering problem. I just bought one. I shouldn't be feeling scared when buying a new car; i hope problems don't occur with my new Sorento :(
