I'm a big fan of Leontyne's and have been so since I first heard her sing in 1961. She also performs this with thrilling and hair-raising intensity on her second Prima Donna album (with orchestra). I wish I could have attended her Carnegie Hall debut. I lived in NYC from 1972-1987 and heard her at the Met and in recitals often. No voice has ever moved me so much as hers. Thanks so much for posting this. It introduces Price to new generatons of fans and reminds established ones of her greatness.
