This is me singing "There's a Fine, Fine Line" from Avenue Q. I don't have a camera--yet--so this is audio-only. There's a pause for a few seconds before the audio starts up.
I know there are some problems--sometimes you can hear the person singing on the cast CD, because the little karaoke device I used with my mp3 player doesn't completely get rid of the vocal. Please excuse the bad quality, I just used a little handheld voice recorder for the audio, so the balance with the music is way off, too.
And my breath support isn't what it should be. Still, I recorded it about 15 times over 5 or 6 days, and this is the best result. Constructive criticism will be appreciated.
Thanks for listening!

  • Considering that you're using bad equipment, your voice is amazing!

  • You have a lovely voice!

  • You really have a SUPER good chance at getting Kate's part if you auditioned! :)

  • @markjameshowe Hey, thanks. :) I think they were trying to help, but I appreciate your defense. :)

  • @RainWillowTear How rude. Constructive criticism is great, but sarcasm is just rude. Go learn some manners.

  • Wowowowow! You have to audition for Kate!

  • pretty voice i love this song

    saludos desde mexico

  • Be careful not to fall flat. Most of the times when singing in our own language, we ytend to spread our vowels which naturally causes are pitch to go flat over time. Just tihnk up and you'll do great, otherwise very good.

  • Very nice, but definitely work on holding out notes- in the background, I could hear Kate Monster holding them out longer than you.

Also: the "Ohh..." is just that, not a "Whoa...". Don't add the "w", it messes with the mood and tone of the piece.

Otherwise, very nice job. You've got talent.

  • YOUR AMAZING :) i luv ur voice i too want to be on broadway i go to a performing artz academy for voice ima post videos soon pllezze watch :)
