Even on short trips to the shops, wear a seatbelt. Good campaign with good hook. From the South Australian Govt.

  • Someone recently rear-ended my car while I was waiting at a red light. I was jolted pretty badly, and wound up with nasty whiplash. Along with the physical pain, I still feel a lot of powerlessness and anger by the fact that I had been injured by another person. I could only imagine how worse it could have been if I were not belted.

  • By habit, I wear a seatbeat at all times, when I'm in a car, if she was wearing the belt her injuries would be just a broken collar bone, Since 1970 Victoria by law made it required for everyone in the car to wear belts.

  • I totally agree. I've had accidents just a few metres from where I live or where I work, and if I hadn't been wearing a seat belt, I'd either be dead or in a wheelchair for the rest of my life.
