This song isn't about the left or the right, it's about ordinary Canadians using their freedom to express their opinion.

At the moment in Canada I find it hard to believe a traditional protest will bring about any change. The G20 in Toronto highlighted the unwillingness of the current administration to allow peaceful protests; many protesters were stripped of their basic civil liberties. I do agree with Brigette DePape - Canadians will need to find creative ways to express themselves and I believe it is our duty to constantly and consistently criticize the government for their action and inaction.

The problem with the majority of Canadians is that we are complacent with what we got and and are afraid to do something out of our "comfort zone" !

Canada's foreign policy has gone to the dogs since the Harper government has been in power, the international committee does not even considers a "Canadian" point of view anymore, but merely we are lackeys of US foreign policy !

Its time for Peace & Not War ...Does it take a young woman to do the work for us to STOP HARPER from killing innocents. He strongly wants the Canadian Military to become killers & NOT PEACE KEEPERS. In his speach before the election, he said on the news...CANADA IS GOING TO WAR! Why? WHat For? OUr country is a peace country & not a reason to erase a society off this earth.
