A young girl goes to a tattoo shop as her mother gets her first tattoo. The girl learns what a tattoo is, why her mother would get one, and how society reacts sometimes to visible body art. When the young girl is old enough to get a tattoo of her own, she weighs the consequences of making a decision that doesn't wash off.
