The game actually get really laggy after level 4 or 5, no matter how fast your computer is.

something wrong with the pathfinding AI that gets them locked on set paths after pacman and the ghosts get into specific locations and trajectories in the maze

one time, i was playing and mrs. pacman appeared where you start and she was biting the wall but i still was controlling pacman about 15 seconds in mrs. pacman dies with no ghost touching her and it makes the pacman die too
