I love the german military and gsg9 and Germany its self. I'm American but have a lot of German in me and my last name is German also. I'm really glad USA and Germany work together. Two powerful nations and and plus Germany makes really awesome weapons and has one of the most bad ass military's. From USA.

When it was founded it stood for "Grenzschutzgruppe 9" ("Border Police Group 9", because it is a sub division of the border police). Nowadays the Border Police does not exist in the way it was founded in 1951 anymore, but the GSG9 kept their name, because of their famousness. So actually GSG9 means nothing but GSG9 ;)
