James Meadows and The Country Mile Drifters -

Filmed live at The Country Club Bar and Grill in Bristol, TN on 4-23-2010. I know the video quality is rather poor due to Bar room lighting and the fact it was taken with a Sony cybershot. I didn't know if I'd get to film or not so I didn't bring the handycam. The audio turned out pretty good, though which is what really matters. James Meadows is a singer/songwriter who lives in Abingdon, VA. He originally grew up an hours drive north of Abingdon deep in the Appalachian Mountains near Grundy, Virginia. James started up his band, just after his album officially released, called James Meadows & The Country Mile Drifters in August of 2008. The band is compiled of amazing professional musicians who put on a very high energy show with a huge set list filled with both fan/crowd requested and timeless Classic Country, Top 40 Country, Bluegrass, Southern Rock, and Originals that are sure to blow the walls off of any event or venue. The hard drive and skill they present is sure to impress even the most discerning musical critic! If a memorable night filled with your crowd dancing, laughing, and singing along to every song is what your after then look no further than James Meadows and The Country Mile Drfiters! The band has been extremely well received both locally and regionally and are quickly becoming the most sought after Country Band in the area. They have opened shows for major Nashville Artists, played in front of thousands at major events, and they have also been the Headlining Act for many other large festivals over the past year. They have also played for Coporate Events, Weddings, and Private Parties. James Meadows is influenced by the Country Artist styles (just to name a few) of Conway Twitty, Keith Whitley, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens.
