One of the best singer/songwriters, if not the best, we've seen in OZ....and still going.
I think I saw Russell perform in every pub in Melbourne in the 80s. Always a great live sound.

Just keeps getting better as the years roll on. One of the all time greats of Oz rock.
-
a man/performer/artist way beyond the limits set by his peers at the time of the original recording..a truly international performer and more importantly... AGELESS

one of the best voices in Australia.....back in the 60s and 70 he had a great voice....still hasent changed a bit
I hear ya Tarryhoot. I rate the songs in the same order as you. Just the way he sings Rachels coming home...like no other, just a great unique voice. Sweet sweet love I must of played over and over for a year.

Good on you cobber..that's a story I like to hear. It's amazing that two acoustic guitars and three harmonies can produce something that leaves the listener hardly robbed of any sweet memories of the original.
