how did u make the ribbon???

@miss55704 - Thank you. I used fondant strips to for the ribbon. I rolled fondant. Cut into equal size strips using a pizza cutter. Then, I folded each piece and stacked then on top of each and around each other other to give the ribbon height. I used butter cream as glue for the ribbon strips. I put plastic wrap in the loops so they would hold their shape. It took about 2 days for it to dry completely.

Great cake and wonderful advice. I find the Flow Paste Concentrate Kolors by Koppycake black is the best to get you really rich color and I never have to put too much color to get it dark. The consistency is really thick and not like grocery store brought food color. For those who observe Kosher rules it is heart-k. All though it is nice to have it already made for you.

You did an awesome job...I also have been using youtube as my tutorial to learn from the vast cake decorators and artist in sweets,I plan on opening my own bakery/sweet shop....thank you for your inspiration and help....
