A collaborative project effort between UWE (University of the West of England) and RAM (Royal Academy of Music) students, in groups, to create animation and music to fit together.
The chance we got to see our RAM composer was very rare and so e-mail contact was most prominent, which therefore, also made the task a little trickier to get the art and music to really work.

Each group had a obscure word; ours was 'Acedia' which means roughly, someone who has interest in nothing. Anyway, to cut a long story short, somehow from that we got to toilet roll, and then quite poetic flowing toilet paper. The toilet paper was filmed in darkness, using a special camera and then edited and compiled in After Effects.

The result being quite an abstract art piece.

RAM composer (violin) was Julia Pajot; UWE filmmakers were myself and Dominique Bongers.
