OK, so, seriously, folks, how unreliable is germanium, really? I absolutely love the sound of it and prefer it to basically everything else, but I keep hearing about how it'll sound different gig to gig or have extreme reactions to temperature changes and all this stuff, but how much of a problem, maybe how *frequent* is that REALLY?

sounds like a nice fat germanium sound! I would recommend the Dirty Boy Cannibal Boy for this type of sound. I've got one and love it. Ridiculously massive tone.
